MORRI is a personal project that I hold dearly. I grew up around music and had been writing songs since I was in 9th grade. Everything ended up in notebooks after notebooks of lyrics, tons of notes in my smartphone, and endless voicenotes that were recorded at random times (from GOJEK ride to Sunday service because I would've forgotten it in five minutes). Music is a process of journaling and trying to figure things out for me, it felt almost too private to put them in the open air.
 

But pandemic happened, and as a people person, I naturally lost my coping mechanism. Loved ones have been persuading me to take my music a step further and coincidentally a friend who just started music production offered to help. Lo and behold, MORRI was born.
